Please ensure you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions before submitting your booking request.

•  Booking

•  You must book and pay for your course within the booking period*. If you fail to book a place within the booking period you may not be eligible to go on the course and the police will consider prosecuting you for the offence.

1.2 You must complete the course by the completion date**. If you cannot complete your course by the completion date, you will not be able to do the course and the Police will consider prosecuting you for the offence.

1.3 Bookings are made via our website www.breakthru.co.uk and follow the links to Second Chance Last Chance Programme. Please tell us at the time of booking about any specific requirements (for example, impairment, disability and/or access issues) that you want us to consider so that we can make suitable arrangements.

1.4 Please note the course is delivered in English. Clients will be required to be proficient in written and spoken English and be able to participate in group discussions and exercises.

1.5 You must bring your police notice with you on the day you attend the course.

* Booking period – Within 7 days/1 week of the date the police notice was given to you.

** Completion date – 37 days after the date the police notice was given to you.

2 Payment

2.1 You can make payment of £40.00 using most debit and credit cards. Once you have booked and paid for your course, your booking and any payment made is non-transferable and only refundable as set out in section 5 and 6.

2.2 When you have completed your booking you will receive a confirmation email. If you are unable to make a payment by debit/credit card you should contact the Administration Office at 028 87753228 to make alternative arrangements.

2.3 If you do not make the payment, you will not be able to do the course and the Police will consider prosecuting you for the offence.

3 Attendance

3.1 The course will be delivered in Breakthru, 18 Killymeal Road, Dungannon, Co Tyrone, BT71 6LJ.

3.2 You must satisfactorily complete the course. This involves arriving on time, establishing your identity, being present for the duration and fully taking part.

3.2 The trainer will decide if you have completed the course.

3.3 You must switch of any mobile communication devices for the duration of the course.

3.4 When you attend the course you cannot take anyone else with you (unless it is necessary in order to meet a specific requirement as per ‘Bookings' or as otherwise agreed with us beforehand).

3.5 Electronic cigarettes are not permitted to be used inside the training room, or the Breakthru building.

4 Non Attendance

4.1 Exceptional circumstances – For example, bereavement, medical reasons or you are a parent or carer and your dependent has taken ill – you will be able to reschedule your course. A full refund of your fee will be made by applying through the Administration Office following receipt of documentary evidence.

4.2 You may book another course, if one is available and pay a full course fee.

4.3 You will still need to complete the course by the completion date.

5 Non completion

You will fail to complete your course:

5.1 If you arrive late: You will not be allowed onto the course if you arrive after the course start time. You may still have the opportunity to reschedule your course but you will have to pay the full course fee less a discount of £20.00. If you fail to attempt to make a new booking your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

5.2 Personal Identification: When you attend your course, you must produce the police notice which was given to you and suitable photographic identification (which must include your date of birth), for example, driving licence, passport, electoral identity card or a student card. If you fail to establish your identity satisfactorily you will not be allowed entry onto the course. You may still have the opportunity to reschedule your course but you will have to pay the full course fee less a discount of £20.00. If you fail to attempt to make a new booking your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

5.3 Unfit to take part: You must be in a fit state to participate fully in the course. Any evidence of you being unfit to take part will result in removal from the course. In these instances you will not be able to reschedule and your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'. You will not be eligible for any refund.

5.4 Abusive, disruptive or fail to take part fully: If, in the opinion of the trainer, you are abusive and/or disruptive or you fail to participate during the course we will ask you to leave. In these instances you will not be able to reschedule and your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'. You will not be eligible for any refund.

5.5 If you book the course outside your ‘booking period' or attempt to gain entry onto the course after your ‘completion date' you may not be permitted onto the course and the police will consider prosecuting you for the offence. In these instances you will be entitled to a refund of £30.00 upon application through our Administration Office and your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'

5.6 Rescheduled courses will need to be completed by the completion date.

6 Cancelling

6.1 Cancelling: You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day you made your booking. Please note that if you book a course date to take place within this 14 day period your right to cancel and obtain a full refund shall cease on the day you are due to take your course. To claim your refund please contact our Administration Office. By choosing this option your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

6.2 Cancelling without rescheduling with us: If you cancel your course outside of the period of 14 calendar days of making you initial booking without rescheduling we will provide a refund of £30.00 upon application through our Administration Office and your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

6.3 If we cancel the course: If we cannot deliver your course for any reason outside of our control, we will make every effort to contact you via text or email message advising you of any disruption or cancellation. Once the course is cancelled you must contact us to reschedule as soon after the course date as possible. Breakthru are at liberty to withdraw the offer of a course at any time after the original course date. You will not have to pay any extra charge to reschedule. If you do not wish to reschedule your course then we will provide a full refund on application through our Administration Office and your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

7 Equality

In line with equality guidelines, when you attend the course you must not wear clothing which displays emblems or other accessories linked to community strife, including clothing which illustrates allegiance to a particular sporting team, and/or display any other messages/graphics which are or may be perceived to be offensive. If you do, you will be refused entry. You may still have the opportunity to reschedule your course but you will have to pay the full course fee less a discount of £20.00. If you fail to attempt to make a new booking your file will be returned to the Police as ‘not completed'.

8 Data Protection

Breakthru will adhere to its internal policies and procedures in relation to Data Protection and Data Retention. Full copies of both policies are available on request.

Information held for each service user will include

•  Booking application and payment schedule

•  Copy of Police notice

•  Copy of identification provided

•  Copy of completion certificate or non-completion report

The above documents will be held for a period of 12 months.
